Root canal Treatment (RCT)
It is a specific procedure for treating the dental pulp when irreversible damage has occured.Diseased or injuried teeth can be preserved by RCT to avoid extraction. Damaged & infected pulp is removed & inner area is filled with special filling materials.
We have done numerous RCt with excellent success rate.
Gum Disease or Periodontal disease or Pyorrhoea.
Gum diseases are very common among our population.Periodontal disease is chronic bacterial infection that affect the gum & supporting bone tissue of the tooth.It begins when this bacterial plague stick on the tooth & produce toxin which seperate gum from teeth forming pocket. As the diseases progress more gum tissue & tooth surrouding bones are destroyed,gum recede & teeth become loosen & lost. This gum diseases also known as Pyorrhoea.

Dental Caries or Tooth Decay:
Dental caries is a infectious disease which damages structure of tooth. Tooth decay is caused by certain type of acid producing bacteria which is microscopic in nature & can't see it by naked eyes. It is the most commnest disease in the whole world after the common cold.
If the caries progress the damaged enamel surface becomes dark brown or black. A late sign of dental caries is holes or cavities in the affected teeth.
Symptom:
Sensation & painfull tooth when eating cold,hot & sugary drink.
Treatment:
Filling the cavity as soon as detected.We use best filling maerials like composite,glass Inomer,cacium hydroxide & occasionally amalgam so filling last longer.
Prevention:
Cleaning teeth atleast twice with fluoride or triclosan contain tooth paste.
